Just as the crocodile is considered the most dangerous predator underwater, similarly on earth the lion is considered the king of the jungle. If a victim gets trapped in the clutches of both these dangerous creatures, it becomes difficult for him to escape. But sometimes they have to suffer. One such video has been uploaded by Maasai Sightings on YouTube, in which it can be seen how buffaloes try to save themselves when they feel threatened by the lion.
In the beginning of the video, it can be seen that two buffaloes are walking comfortably in the Masai Mara National Reserve of Kenya. After some time, suddenly his eyes fall on the lion coming from behind. In such a situation she starts running away. At first the lion goes after both the buffaloes, but as soon as the two buffaloes go their separate ways. The lion goes after one. Once the lion even attacks the buffalo from behind, but the buffalo keeps running away and the lion falls down. Despite being injured by the lion’s claws, the buffalo runs fast. The lion chases him.
But the buffalo quickly reaches its herd. During that time, many lions also gather nearby. But no one has the courage to hunt buffaloes. Some buffaloes try to drive away the nearby lions with their horns and even succeed in driving them away from the herd. However, the lions have to accept defeat in front of the buffalo herd and have to be content without hunting. This video was captured by Charles Kasoe for Masai Mara National Reserve.
This video was shared on Masai Mara’s YouTube channel Masai Sightings on April 24, which is becoming increasingly viral. Within just 24 hours this video has been viewed more than 5 lakh times. Many people have also liked and commented. One user has written that at the speed at which the buffalo is running, even Usain Bolt cannot overtake the buffalo. One has written that who knows which people are happy with the survival of buffaloes, whereas the lions need food. Another wrote that I felt good to see that a herd of buffaloes came to save the buffalo.
